The Anti-Hindu Dimension of Digital Data

This is a machination that may seem complex and elusive to grasp, yet is imperative to understand. The adversaries of India—who have hitherto poisoned libraries and academic curricula across universities—have quietly tampered with the very bedrock of evidence across the digital information sphere, ensuring that only the toxic fruits of disinformation are left to be found.

Look, if someone were to come up to us and say:

“Sanatana Dharma and Hindu society are in grave peril. Communists worldwide, alongside Islamist and Christian proselytizing forces, are hell-bent on completely obliterating India. This conspiracy has been in motion for at least a century. Discord, animosity and hatred are being sown between different castes of Hindu society; Lingayats and Sikhs are being turned against Hindus. Pursuing this very objective, the United States, Britain, several European nations and Islamic countries are operating in cahoots with Delhi’s Lutyens elite. China and Pakistan are relentlessly working to instigate all of India’s neighbors against her. Foreign funds flow through myriad channels into India’s opposition parties to orchestrate subversive activities during elections. Figures like George Soros continue their relentless bids to ruin India by pouring in vast sums of wealth. Communist-controlled media cabals such as ‘The New York Times’, ‘The Washington Post’ and the BBC, along with select American universities, are all part of this mafia. And across numerous social media platforms on the internet, this nefarious campaign is being executed systematically…….”

A billion of us Indians would simply burst into uproarious laughter, egging them on with, “Come on, buddy, tell us a few more jokes like that!”

Yet, in reality, every single one of these points—every line that strikes us Indians as laughable at first glance—is real; it is literally and unequivocally true.

Consider Pakistan and Bangladesh. Eight decades ago, they were integral parts of our own nation. From the very moment a demand arose for a separate homeland in the name of Islam and from the day these new borders were carved out in 1947, the slaughter, rape and forced conversion of Hindus and Sikhs have continued unabated. Even in Bangladesh—a nation born of Indian funds, Indian cooperation and the very blood of Indian soldiers—the pogrom against Hindus and Buddhists persists to this day. In West Pakistan, the Hindu population has plummeted from nearly 20% in 1947 to under 2% today! Regardless of the extensive aid and goodwill India extended over the last fifty years, the plight of Hindus and Buddhists in Bangladesh has fared no differently. Reports, photographs and video footage documenting the carnage of Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists across both these nations continue to emerge relentlessly.
By contrast, look at India, where the total population and percentage of Muslims have been consistently rising. By some estimates, the Muslim population in India today may be around 250 million. Over the past seven to eight decades, they have received extensive constitutional and legal privileges, reservations, welfare benefits, loans and subsidies.

Yet, global media outlets—not just the Indian press—and a vast array of online narratives paint an entirely different picture. Around the world, it is a documented reality that majorities often oppress, persecute, massacre, harass, and assault minorities. In most Islamic nations in particular, non-believers (kafirs) are denied even fundamental freedoms, forbidden from practicing their own faith even within the privacy of their homes.

In Hindu-majority India, however, the so-called minorities—Muslims and Christians—fare remarkably well, enjoying boundless freedom alongside an abundance of rights, safeguards and affirmative benefits.

Despite this reality, the internet and global media churn out an appalling and outright fabricated narrative regarding India. The statistics and analytical tables presented by author, thinker and researcher Prof. Kaushik Gangopadhyay in his book “The Majoritarian Myth” are deeply shocking.

“Global News stream” is a prominent digital resource and news database whose archives span over four decades. A thorough study and analysis of data published and cataloged over a three-year period (2020, 2021, and 2022)—across audio files, videos, websites, blogs, podcasts, books, conference proceedings, encyclopedias, reference texts, journals, newspapers and news portals spanning the US, Canada, Europe, Africa, Asia, South America and Australia—specifically focusing on metrics of “majoritarianism” yield alarming revelations.

According to this data, in India—home to one-sixth of the human race—Hindus, who are majoritarian in name only, are framed as brutal oppressors who commit atrocities against so-called minorities on grounds of religion, language and race. Even more chilling is that nearly 80% (yes, eighty percent) of all such global majoritarian atrocity narratives focus primarily on alleged abuses by Hindus.

These details expose the staggering scale of anti-Hindu profiling curated by global vested interests, leaving one appalled at how systematically Hindus are demonized as monsters. Meanwhile, the actual aggressions of Muslim and Christian majorities across the globe are deliberately downplayed, effectively casting persecutors in the role of the oppressed. Unquestionably, deep pockets and immense funding have played a pivotal role in driving this malicious disinformation campaign.

By comparison, atrocities committed by Pakistani Muslims against non-believers (kafirs) account for a mere 1.8% according to this very database! Anyone with a shred of awareness or basic knowledge knows this is absurdly false. Yet, therein lies the formidable power of archived documentation and evidence. Courts, universities, research papers and encyclopedias draw heavily upon digital databases like “Global News stream” to formulate findings and render authoritative conclusions. Seen in this light, it is genuinely alarming to observe how systematically anti-India forces operate, orchestrating and recording skewed evidence through deliberate deceit.

Within this dataset, while only 1,802 reports document the horrific plight, slaughter and unspeakable atrocities suffered by hundreds of thousands of Kashmiri Hindus at the hands of Islamist extremism, the 2002 Gujarat riots alone account for a staggering 29,092 reports—over sixteen times as many. Contextually, one must recall that the official death toll in Gujarat stood at 254 Hindus and 790 Muslims.

Consider yet another stark contrast: in 1984, following the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards, an retaliatory anti-Sikh pogrom claimed the lives of an officially recorded 3,350 people. Yet, in this “Global News stream” digital repository, it commands 10,977 reports—more than five times the coverage given to the Kashmiri Hindu genocide.

When one recalls how Communists and Jihadists have collaborated over the past seven to eight decades to distort and poison India’s history, what is transpiring in the realm of global data repositories becomes truly alarming. India has still not recovered from the damaging fallout of fabricated history embedded within school and college textbooks. Under such circumstances, this biased dimension of the “Global News stream” digital archives serves as a clarion call and a stark warning to a billion Indians.

What a strange world this is!

Just like the internal adversaries, external realities and anti-India forces are equally harrowing and sinister. For decades, the narrative of “Majoritarianism” has been weaponized as a calculated ploy by a Communist-led cabal to corner, suppress and incriminate Indian Hindus.

We have countless glaring examples within our own experience. The Pakistan-based terror module led by Ajmal Kasab carried out the infamous 2008 Mumbai attacks disguised as Hindus, an operation underpinned by a massive, sinister conspiracy. It was solely because Kasab was captured alive by chance that the deception unraveled; otherwise, books targeting Hindu nationalist organizations had already been commissioned and prepared to drag Hindu India into the prisoner’s dock.

Indian society has endured thousands of years of agony, violence and massacres—enough is enough. Let the light of awareness at last awaken and ignite vigilance within us.
