At approximately 00:45 hrs on 28 January,unknown individuals set fire using kerosene to the residence of Mr.Morning Roy (age 18), son of the late Bakul Roy. Local residents immediately alerted the Fire Service, which responded promptly and arrived at the scene. Property worth an estimated ₹5,000 was destroyed in the fire.
A Hindu family’s ancestral land in Banaripara, Barishal, has allegedly been forcibly occupied and residential structures are being erected on the site. The affected person, citing threats to his safety, filed a General Diary (GD) at Banaripara Police Station.
The complainant is Suhas Chandra Shil (65), son of Shri Dhirendra Nath Shil and Shantilata. His permanent address is Barachaulakati village, No.4 Chakar Union, Banaripara Upazila. He currently resides in the South Kamalapur area under Motijheel Police Station, Dhaka.
