West Bengal: Primary school teacher Khurshid Alam regularly molested girl students, absconding after complaint filed

Small girls of 3rd and 4th standard were regularly molested by their teacher Khurshid Alam. And this happened inside school. Accused teacher Khurshid Alam is now absconding after police complaint filed. Angry parents gathered in front of school and demanded immediate arrest of the accused teacher.

According to information received, yesterday angry parents gathered in front of a Govt run Primary school of Belakoba of Jalpaiguri district. Many parents alleged that part-time teacher Khurshid Alam regularly molested their daughters. He should be immediately arrested, they demanded. But the accused teacher was absent, so angry parents locked other teachers in a room.

Later Police from Milanpalli outpost came to the spot and tried to pacify the situation. Circle inspector of Rajganj Sajjad Hossain was also informed. Also a written complaint was filed in police station.

Locals said that the accused teacher Khurshid Alam was working in the school as part-time teacher for some time. He is married and has children. Angry parents as well as local residents also expressed their grudge against the decision of appointing a Muslim as part-time teacher in a school where all the students are Hindu. They demanded to suspend the accused teacher permanently. Police promised to angry parents to take action against the accused as per law. But accused Khurshid Alam is now absconding.
