On the evening of September 18, Hindu youth Partha was lured into a deadly ambush and repeatedly stabbed by unidentified assailants.
According to his elder brother Shuvo, the attack was a pre-planned assault. He claims the attackers summoned Partha from his home in Nabiganj before ambushing him.
Partha sustained severe abdominal injuries and is currently fighting for his life.
His family has demanded a transparent, impartial investigation and the strictest punishment for those responsible.
Yet, as of September 22, the family alleges that police have taken no decisive action.
