Hindu Voice Team: A heart-wrenching incident has shaken the quiet village of Manikraj in Faridganj, as the body of Sujon Debnath (30) was recovered under mysterious circumstances on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police sources, Sujon’s body was found floating in waterlogged farmland around 4:30 PM, sending shockwaves through the local community.
Family members said Sujon was a calm and peace-loving man. His mother, Anjali Debnath, told reporters in tears that her son went out after receiving a call from a man named Md. Bachchu and never returned home. Later, his lifeless body was found in the nearby field.
“My son was an innocent and simple boy. He had no enemies. I want to know how he died,”
— said Anjali Debnath, mother of the deceased.
Local residents suspect foul play behind the incident and have demanded a fair and thorough investigation.
Police have not yet confirmed the exact cause of death but said an autopsy report will help determine whether it was an accident or a case of homicide.
The tragic death of another Sanatani youth has once again raised concerns over the safety of minority communities in rural Bangladesh.
