Hindu Voice Team: Under the rule of Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government, Hindus are being regularly targeted and attacked. And surprisingly, in many cases the Police and the administration weren’t able to deliver justice to the victims. And, that is why such cases are rising.
On the night of Holi, Tamluk town of Purba Medinipur district witnessed the targeted attack and violence were unleashed on them by the Islamists. Hindu youths and elderly men were beaten brutally. Hindu women and girls were teased and were threatened.
A young woman said, “Muslim youths came to the market in more than 50 motorcycles. They all were wearing skull caps. In front of me, they asked a Hindu boy if he is a Hindu or not. After knowing he is Hindu, Islamists started to beat him. He is undergoing treatment in a nursing home now. They were shouting slogans like ‘allahu akbar’ and ‘joy bangla’. The police did nothing to stop them, they were just mute spectators.”
An elderly woman said, “They suddenly started to beat my son without any reason.”
But, after the incident, hundreds of Hindu men and women gathered in the market. They demanded to arrest the accused Islamists. High ranking police officials rushed to the spot. The officials promised to identify and arrest the accused.
