After smuggling of cows and gold, now smuggling of Passports are going on through India -Bangladesh international border. Patrolling BSF jawans recovered 21 Bangladeshi Passports which were being taken to Bangladesh from India. BSF could not arrest anyone as smugglers fled.
As per information shared by BSF, on early Saturday morning some people were trying to smuggle some things to Bangladesh at Sanapara border of Dakshin Dinajpur district. On duty BSF jawans saw them and chased. But smugglers fled to Bangladesh leaving two packets.
From one packet Passports were found and 26 bottles of cough syrup were found from another packet.
BSF said that the Passports are real. They suspects that those passports had been brought into India few months ago to be handed over to migrant Bangladeshi labourers. Then the passports were submitted to Romanian embassy in Delhi for Visa, it is known after primary investigation. But who were handling the whole process, it was not found yet.
