West Bengal: Armed Islamists enter Puja mandap in Purba Medinipur, stabbed and injured Hindu devotees; 10 injured 

Hindu Voice Team: Attacks on the Hindus continue all over the state of West Bengal. A fresh case has been reported from the Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal where armed Islamists entered a Puja mandap and stabbed several Hindu devotees. At least 10 Hindu devotees were injured. 

On the night of 29th of March, Hindu devotees were gathered in the Mandap on the occasion of the Shitala Mata Puja in Barbaria village under Bhagawanpur-2 block of the Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal. Suddenly, some armed  Islamists entered the Puja mandap. They started stabbing the Hindu devotees with sharp weapons. When some devotees tried to resist them, they managed to flee. 

Meanwhile, locals rushed injured devotees to the Mugberia hospital for treatment. A total 10 Hindus were injured in the attack. Some for injuries in arms and heads. 

However, after receiving the information, the Police reached the spot and talked to the locals. An investigation has been launched.
