Hindu Voice Team: Serious allegations of discrimination against Hindu employees have surfaced at the state-run West Bengal Livestock Development Corporation Limited (WBLDC), Coochbehar. On September 24, 2025, a group of workers from the Mekhliganj farm submitted a written complaint, clearly stating that they are being treated unfairly at the workplace on the basis of religion.
Key Points of the Complaint
The complainants stated:
Despite working diligently for years, Hindu employees are being denied bonus and other financial allowance.
The authorities repeatedly ignore the applications and demands of Hindu employees.
In contrast, Muslim employees, even with comparatively less experience, are receiving faster promotions, opportunities, and various privileges. Also, Muslim employees received bonus and financial allowance during Eid on time.

Manifestation of Discrimination
According to the complaint, the management is deliberately facilitating the advancement of Muslim employees while sidelining Hindu employees. The complainants assert that this is not mere negligence but a case of intentional religious discrimination.
Workers’ Frustration and Concerns
The complaint, signed by five employees, notes that this discrimination has created deep resentment among the workforce. They warned that if such treatment of Hindu employees continues, the situation could erupt at any times. They frustrated Hindu workers also staged protest inside the farm.
