Amid news of Murti vandalism from Bangladesh, now report Of Durga Murti vandalism have been coming from the Nadia district of West Bengal.
As per the received information, on Thursday morning, Puja committee members found that Durga Murti and other Murtis were broken. This triggered massive outrage in the locality. The police reached the after receiving information.

Locals and members of the Puja Committee said that the Murtis were probably broken the previous night. So, they have no idea who did this.
Notably, Murtis were being made at Bakultala locality under Palashipara Police Station of Nadia district.
A member of the Puja Committee said, “We have filed a written complaint in Palashipara Police Station. Police inspected the spot and promised to identify and arrest the accused.”
