Bangladesh: Hindu man and his wife found murdered in Chandpur, investigations underway

In the morning of 8th of September, Friday, dead bodies of a Hindu couple were found in Hajipur of Chandpur district. The deceased are identified as Uttam Barman(65) and his wife Kajoli Rani Barman(55). 

As per the received information, Uttam Barman worked as a caretaker and used to live in the mansion of a wealthy Hindu man named Dulal Saha. Dulal Saha lives in Narayanganj town with his family. His wife also lived with him in the house. 

Today morning, a man came to the garden of the house to collect flowers. He saw that the windows of the house were broken and received no response from inside. So, he informed the locals. Then, the Police were informed. By breaking the door, the Police entered the house. 

Inside, the Police found bodies of the couple tied, both hands and legs. Also, signs of assault were found in the bodies. The Police sent the bodies for postmortem. A Police official informed that investigation is at a primary level. No one has been arrested so far.
